Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an EL1 Assistant Manager on a contract for 12 months with potential extension 12 months.

About the Role:

Our Client is looking for talented and driven individuals to join the team and contribute to low-emissions technology policy, analytical and delivery work.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Working with the team delivering international low emissions technology partnerships, we are seeking an experienced EL1 with initiative, drive and the ability to work independently to drive projects forward.
  • Experience with Government processes, including Cabinet, Budget processes and Ministerial briefings is essential.
  • Highly developed negotiation and collaboration skills are also essential, including working across a range of stakeholders to bring them together to achieve an outcome. Demonstrated experience with international stakeholders strongly desired.
  • Background in energy, climate change or low emissions technology highly desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate complex concepts into clear products for non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with often changing priorities is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and brief Senior Executives.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be required to have a Baseline security clearance.
