Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Assistant Director Strategic and Operational Reporting on a contract for 12 months with potential extension.

Position Overview

The EL1 Assistant Director Strategic and Operational Reporting (Labour Hire) is accountable under broad direction to undertake very complex work that delivers quality outcomes across the risk functions of the department.

The position is an important team leadership position within the department and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail. The role requires providing leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the Team Membership and assigned Contractors working within the Work Area.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing the design and implementation of a fraud and compliance performance reporting framework, including performance monitoring and reporting and escalation thresholds.
  • Establishing reporting dashboards and templates to provide data for CRO Division reporting cadence.
  • Preparing data Extract, Transformation and Load (ETL) scripts to prepare data in trusted data
  • repositories business intelligence based dashboards and reports.
  • Preparing visualisation and risk dashboards to give insights into emerging risks and threats rather than merely reporting historic events.
  • Developing reporting collateral including templates, dashboards, updates and responses required to respond to various reporting requirements.
  • Analysing and incorporating data into designated ongoing performance and operational reports.

Preparing and presenting briefs and reports that draw on evidence-based analysis for a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including the Executive and the Board's committees.
