The Role

The EL1 Assistant Director Participant Advocate is an important team leadership position and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail. The role requires providing leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the Team Membership and assigned Contractors working within the Work Area.

Your Responsibilities are, but not limited to:
Planning and deploying branch activities, communicating and educating key stakeholders on program vision and deliverables.
Developing branch activities and reporting progress and outcomes to the executive.
Attending and co-facilitating engagement meetings, reference groups and other consultations and assisting in documentation and write ups.
Integrating learning and advice from stakeholders into future engagement activities.
Supporting the development of internal and external communication materials.
Liaising with relevant business areas to determine their participant engagement needs and supporting the development of engagement plans.
Escalating reputational risks associated with engagement and communication activities.
As a Successful applicant you will have:
Communication skills including ability to translate complex documents into plain English.
Expert level excels and reporting skills.
Strong people and leadership skills.
Research and provide strategic advice to inform continuous improvement is desirable.
Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high work standards and accuracy.
Experience in building relationships both with internal and external stakeholders.


As this role sits within the Federal Government applicants must hold Australian Citizenship.
ASAP Start Date
12-month temporary contract with possibility of extension
Sydney CBD Location
Full time hours - Monday to Friday
