Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a EL1 Behavioural Compliance on a contract for 12 months with potential extension.

About the Role:

The EL1 Behavioural Compliance (Labour Hire) is accountable under broad direction to undertake very complex work that delivers quality outcomes across the risk and compliance functions of the department.

The position is an important team leadership position within the department and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail. The role requires providing leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the Team Membership and assigned Contractors working within the Work Area.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Supervising and leading staff in designing, implementing, and evaluating behaviourally informed activities aimed at improving the integrity of the health finance system and health outcomes of Australians.
  • Maintaining understanding of best practice behavioural theory
  • Providing advice to business areas, supporting them in developing solutions to compliance and health issues.
  • Managing projects, ensuring quality outcomes are achieved and deliverables are met on time.
  • Fostering and supporting the innovative ideas of staff.
  • Applying strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills including high attention to detail and exercising judgement when researching and reviewing data and communicating findings and recommendation.
  • Knowledge of applying behavioural insights principles to facilitate an improved experience for staff and customers.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, project management and coaching skills
  • Academic qualifications and recent experience in applying psychology, behavioural economics, econometrics, social anthropology, applied statistics or a related discipline.
