About the role
We are partnering one of Australia's leading resources companies, to secure the services of an experienced Asset Integrity Planner to be deployed at Leinster Minesite near in the Goldfields region of WA on a FIFO basis, commencing immediately.


This is a newly created position with an opportunity to make your mark; as your will be charged with identifying, ranking and prioritising plant defects and the planning of rectification works based on plant audits.

The assignment is for an initial period of 6 months and there is the opportunity for contract extension or transfer across to BHP staff for the right candidate.

The key requirements of the role include:

  • Action, prioritise and plan maintenance repairs.
  • Enhance planning processes to improve service quality, data accuracy and workplace safety.
  • Integrate safety and environmental related components in your planning efforts.
  • Consult with key departments in regards to priorities in relation to criticality of equipment, ensuing that work packages accurately reflect the work to be executed.
  • Clearly identify task conditions, constraints, hazard controls, permits, labor, equipment materials, specalised tools, services, test and handover procedures, durations, sequencing, and timing.
  • Address any associated planning issues such as operational requirements, parts availability, equipment deficiencies, inadequate work procedures, and data accuracy.
  • Ensure the proper identification of shutdown scope to verify important shutdown schedule targets.
  • Assist with review of asset strategies when operational requirements change.
  • Seek to improve work package requirements and minimise costs without sacrificing safety or quality.
  • Work collaboratively with supplying vendors to ensure materials delivery time frames.

To be successful in this role, you will require the following:

  • Mechanical trade background
  • Extensive fixed plant | processing plant experience with some supervisory experience
  • Prior planning background - preferably with experience in Asset Integrity - corrosion of structural steel due to processing
  • Competence in the use of MS Project
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Provision of a current Drivers License and Australian working rights
