About the role
We are partnering one of Australia's leading resources companies, to secure the services of an experienced Engineer to lead the development of a company Asset Integrity | Management classified plant standard , commencing in late July / early August. This standard will help our client to manage risks to the failure of critical lifting and pressure equipment e.g. maintenance, inspection strategies etc. This assignment will cover a period of 6 months, on a Monday - Friday roster, with standard 8am-5pm working hours, based in the Perth CBD.

To be successful in this role, you will require the following work experience:

  • Experience in the development and management of engineering standards & systems
  • Demonstrable leadership skills in project directorship
  • Prior experience in a similar leadership position with exposure and working knowledge of cranes and pressure vessels in the resources | mining industry
  • Asset Integrity/Management experienced
  • Stakeholder Management

Ideal candidates must also hold the following prerequisites:

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering
  • 7+ years experience in a similar role with proven outcomes
  • Provision of a current Drivers License and Australian working rights
  • A demonstrated, proactive approach towards ensuring the well-being of yourself and others is a mandatory requirement for any role with Chandler Macleod.
  • Your ability to set good examples of work ethic and integrity, especially when working alongside others, will be highly regarded.
