About the role
We are partnering with a WA renowned gold mining company to secure the services of an experienced Asset Health Reliability Engineer to join their Telfer team on an initial three month contract with a view to permanency in the future. You will be responsible for ensuring the governance and compliance to their Asset Health systems & procedures and report on compliance to company Asset Management Policy and Standards for the Telfer site.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Daily review of asset health and assign resources/execute & complete RCA's - Asset Health report on the compliance to assigning resources to RCA's, completion of RCA's & associated actions).
  • Identify, prepare data, and implement improvements in delay elimination (PPMS) failure codes
  • Ensuring accurate capture and reporting of delays to support decision making
  • Ad-hoc investigations and reports on downtime
  • Manage FRACAS improvement cycle sitewide
  • Report on compliance to triggering and assigning resources to RCA's
  • Ensure new RCAs and actions are recorded in relevant registers
  • Manage and improve RCA trigger process from delay elimination system (PPMS)
  • Encourage and support RCA action completion and review progress with responsible teams regularly
  • Support SIC meetings on RCA actions progress
  • Reporting - Ensure regular Asset Health & Asset Risk reporting to required standards (Asset Performance/Condition/ Risk)
  • Maintain high levels of communication with team members and stakeholders

To be successful in this role, you will require the following work experience:

  • Preference is mechanical background, but open to trades or engineering background
  • 10+ years' experience in a pivotal reliability engineering role
  • Must have working knowledge of SAP | MS Project
