Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS5 Assessment Officer on a contract for 6 months with potential extension of 6 months.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The key duties of the position include:

  • Assess applications against legislative and policy criteria and make recommendations to the delegate.
  • Analyse issues which require interpretation and analysis of legislation, policy, procedures and guidelines.
  • Prepare briefing material and analytical reports.
  • Assist in the management of risks, including supporting compliance investigations and audits.
  • Ensure quality outputs for the team, including the development of technical expertise.
  • Develop and support relationships with internal and external stakeholders and respond appropriately to stakeholder needs and expectations.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of regulatory guidance, regulatory postures and standard operating procedures to reflect current regulatory environment.
  • Assist in IT system testing and development work
  • Ability to undertake research and analysis of information and data

Mandatory Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be required to have a Baseline security clearance.
