Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS6 Strategic Communications Officer on a contract for 12 months with potential extension.
Role Requirements:
- Work in a small team to develop and implement communication plans and strategies.
- Maintain successful relationships with policy and program areas, anticipating and assessing their strategic communication needs.
- Develop communication material for various audiences, which may include social media and web content, communication and stakeholder products, videos and accessible communication materials.
- Coordinate the procurement and management of communication contracts and liaise with external suppliers to ensure successful outcomes.
- Monitor and report on the implementation of strategic communication initiatives.
- Work effectively as part of a team to deliver results and effectively manage personal workloads with minimal supervision.
