Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS5 Project Support Officer specialising in Business Design & Integrity for a 6-month assignment with the possibility to extend in their well-located offices in Melbourne or Geelong.

About the Team

The APS5 Project Officer will work on a wide variety of projects, supporting the Participant, Platforms and Process Improvements team within the wider Strategy and Service Improvement branch.

This department designs and delivers service improvements in the Agency to create an optimal experience for all clients and participants, and your branch in particular is in charge of managing various small to large programs in line with this.

About the Role

The APS5 Project Officer - Business Design & Integrity will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

  • Provide administrative support within the branch including diary management and coordination
  • Support Branch governance from organising meetings, taking minutes to maintaining decision & action logs
  • Support with branch training, onboarding and off-boarding activities
  • Maintain Branch confluence page and support with record keeping
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders in a positive and professional manner
  • Work proactively and collaboratively with all stakeholders

About You:

  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or government experience will be highly regarded

What's on Offer?

  • Position located in Melbourne or Geelong
  • APS5 $53.63/ph + super
  • Temporary contract for 6 months, with possibility to extend
  • Standard Hours of work - Monday to Friday, 8:30 am till 5:00 pm
