Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage in APS5 Project Officer for a 12-month assignment with potential extension in Adelaide CBD.

About the Team

The Service Guidance and Practice Branch is responsible for the design and delivery of guidance improvements and system enhancements, to support the Agency's front line (National Delivery).

The branch develops operational and practice guidance and standard operating procedures. This guidance enables front line staff, including Planners and Local Area Coordinators (LACs) to utilise processes to make consistent decisions when working with participants.

About the Role

The APS5 Project Officer is a team membership position and is accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to an area of responsibility. The position will provide policy advice within an area of specialisation with advice based on policies and legislation.

The position will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex to complex enquiries.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Developing high quality, evidence based operational policy and advice, planning resources including Operational Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures, practice guides, letters, forms and tips.
  • Providing service delivery expertise, technical system advice and procedural guidance around high level Scheme strategy, practice implementation and operational matters.
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve project and business outcomes.
  • Monitoring and reviewing project activities against plans.
  • Implementing project activities that focus on improving frontline support.

What's on Offer?

  • Position located in Adelaide
  • APS5 $53.63/ph + super
  • Temporary contract for 12 months, with possibility to extend
  • Standard Hours or work - Monday to Friday, 8:30 am till 5:00 pm
