About the organisation:
Our Federal Government client supports the administration and delivery of matters relating to corporate, governance and election readiness functions, including participating in section planning for short term tasks and work area planning for longer term initiatives.

About the role:
An unparalleled opportunity has arisen for a proven project management coordinator to assist with executing administrative activities relating to a significant election event by aligning people, process and technology around key project outcomes.

Key Duties:

  • Contribute to the design and identification of project components and timelines
  • Undertake project activities, including resources, budgets, reporting and ensure that project tasks are delivered on time and meet the needs of the end user
  • Prepare tender documentation, contribute to the evaluation of proposals received from tenderers and prepare contract documentation
  • Contribute to the preparation of briefs and prepare other content in relation to the project for consideration by more senior staff
  • Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of project activities, including identification and implementation of process improvements in relation to the project

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated understanding of project management methodologies and experience in delivering within a project framework.
  • Knowledge and experience in delivering and/or overseeing corporate governance activities.
  • Knowledge and experience in successfully setting priorities and delivering quality results on time.
  • Ability to prepare written work that is well constructed and adapted to the needs of the audience.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively whilst responding to stakeholder needs and expectations across a geographically dispersed network.
