Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS5 Executive Assistant on a Non-Ongoing contract for 12 months or Section 26 transfers.

Position Overview

Duties & Responsibilities:
As an Executive Assistant in the People Division, you will manage the following for your Executive and their office:
  • Manage diary, calendar, inbox and phone calls
  • Plan and book travel, including accommodation in line with policy
  • Coordination of administrative tasks such as stationary orders, phone lists, property, security, accommodation requests and financial acquittal services
  • Continuous improvement of the Executive office performance through the use of efficient and practical administration processes and systems
  • Assist the Executive Officer to manage regular division wide correspondence, reporting and meetings
  • Assist the Executive Officer to assign and collate briefs such as senate estimate briefings and coordinating document management
  • Work collaboratively with other executive assistants across the Division, including assisting with onboarding new executive support staff as needed
  • Ad-hoc tasks as required
Mandatory Requirements:
  • To be eligible for employment, applicants must be Australian Citizens
  • The position requires a Baseline security clearance. The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.
