Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS5 Events Officer on a contract for 4 months with potential extension.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Specific duties include:

  • Assisting with preparation, rosters and checklists for the external events and webinar program for HPRG in accordance with strategic priorities
  • Conducting webinars, including working with internal speakers, moderating and providing technical support during webinars
  • Maintaining the event collateral library
  • Maintaining reports and internal information (such as KPIs and speaker attendance reports for TGA Executive)
  • Email administration for the Conference and Webinar inboxes.

Post-COVID-19

  • Representing the TGA at conferences and other educational events, including some travel
  • End-to-end event management, including maintaining the exhibition space program.

Skills & Experience:

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

  • High level written and oral communications skills
  • Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Experience in events management
  • Experience in using online webinars software, especially Webex

Mandatory Requirements:

  • A National Police Certificate (obtained within the last 12 months) will be required for the successful candidate.
