Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage in Multiple APS5 Content Writers (Guidance Officer) for 12 month assignment with potential extension in Adelaide SA.
About the Team
The Service Guidance and Practice Branch is responsible for presenting Agency policy, improvements and system enhancements in clear operational guidelines to support the Agency's front line (National Delivery).
This guidance enables front line staff to make consistent decisions and participants to have choice and control over their lives.
The branch also develops content for participants and external stakeholders to support Our Guidelines, including letters, forms, factsheets and guides to what the Agency does and does not fund.
About the Role
The APS5 Guidance Officer is accountable under limited supervision to undertake moderately complex to complex work. Legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents guide the position.
The position will be required to undertake activities and tasks using available information where options are not always evident. It will be required to perform procedural, clerical, administrative and operational tasks that supports and contributes to NDIA’s objectives to “build a world-leading National Disability Insurance Scheme”.
The APS5 Guidance Officer will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex to complex enquiries.

- Researching, drafting and updating internal and external guidance with a participant focus that reflects the Agency’s policy positions and meets agency’s plain English and accessibility standards.
- Interpreting the policy and legislative environment the branch operates in, including understanding and translating the NDIS Act and NDIS Rules into Our Guidelines.
- Developing or updating guidance material in response to participant and external stakeholder feedback.
- Understanding the key stages of the participant pathway, specific participant cohorts and technical processes within SAP CRM and PACE business system requirements.
- Providing service delivery knowledge and advice about procedural guidance, practice implementation and operational matters as needed to support an improved participant experience.
- Contributing to continuous improvement, maintaining best practice and innovation in the branch.
- Managing multiple priorities while maintaining high work standards, governance protocols and accuracy, meeting defined timeframes and performing other duties as requested.

- Position located in Adelaide SA
- APS5 $55.24/ph + super
- Temporary contract for 12 months, with possibility to extend
- Standard Hours or work - Monday to Friday, 8:30 am till 5:00 pm
