About the role:
The APS5 Capability Partner Instructional Design is responsible for provide policy advice within an area of specialisation with advice based on policies and legislation as well as undertake technical activities and tasks using available information where options are not always evident. You will be part of the Performance Management and Quality Branch influences a high-quality end to end participant experience through delivery of Continuous Improvement (CI), a Quality Management Framework (QMF) and Performance Management activities.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Produce and update learning and capability courses and projects for face-to-face, digital or eLearning programs and virtual platforms.
  • Maintain technical knowledge of current best practice approaches across a number of business systems and platforms, building capability, learning and innovations in learning and technology.
  • Conduct organisational, functional, and individual learning needs analysis, skill gap assessments and audit activities against identified job roles.
  • Conduct analysis and developing insights, contributing to the development of the learning framework, producing a consistent NDIA curriculum for frontline staff and continuous improvement.
  • Manage learning packages, ensuring resources and programs are current, relevant and maintained in the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Develop awareness of and maintaining oversight of professional knowledge of current approaches to Scheme operations.
  • Engage with and providing guidance and support to stakeholders, including Partners in the Community (PITC) workplace trainers, subject matter experts, and technical mentors
MANDATORY
  • Extensive experience working in a similar role under Australian rules and regulations
  • Proficient to expert knowledge in Articulate, Rise, Storyline, Adobe and Microsoft suite products, as well as experience with multimedia or graphic design, such as animations, infographics, and videos
  • Experience in coordinating and assisting in the management of complex cases
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and proficiency in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Current Police Check, o ability to obtain one
