Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS4 Provider Engagement Officer on a contract for 12 months with potential extension.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Being a contact for providers whilst supporting provider market and agency provider process.
  • Supporting team members working with stakeholders including State and Local Governments, providers, carers, people with disability and mainstream organisations to address local transition challenges.
  • Engaging providers to ensure optimal satisfaction is experienced at each interaction.
  • Assisting the team to manage risks associated with stakeholder relationships through a proactive approach.
  • Supporting the development and promotion of resources that enable sector development and improve the agency's understanding of the provider environment and experience.
  • Providing general input into ministerial and parliamentary correspondence, reports and briefs.
  • Undertaking project management and delivery of provider engagement approaches.
  • Supporting engagements where the team is representing the Agency in discussions with providers.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Working with Children Check
  • Pre-Engagement Check - this is a mandatory pre-employment security screening process. All employees and contractors of the agency must undertake a Pre-Engagement Check. This check is undertaken for any individual who will have non-public access to agency resources (information, buildings, systems, assets, staff and customers)
  • Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) clearance - a vetting process undertaken before an individual may have access to classified information and resources. This is only applicable to some positions within the agency that require the occupant to have access to classified Australian Government information
