About the role:

The APS4 Project Officer will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex enquiries. You will be required to apply well-established policy, principles, practices and procedures to achieve outcomes that supports and contributes to Agency’s objectives.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Support participant interviews and observing qualitative data to understand pain points with the current claims and payments process.
  • Support research work and analysis of participant feedback through the capture of qualitative data.
  • Assist in drafting participant consultation documentation for review by senior staff.
  • Build rapport and maintain stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, to support the delivery of projects.
  • Provide project administration support to staff and stakeholders.
MANDATORY
  • Experience working in a similar role under Australian rules and regulations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and proficiency in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Office
  • A positive contemporary attitude to people with disability
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
  • The ability to work within a dynamic fast paced environment and work to deadlines/ tight timeframes
  • High levels of integrity and professionalism to support our values and mission.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
  • The Agency Worker Screening Check. This is only applicable to some positions within the Agency that require the occupant to have access to classified Australian Government information.
  • Current Police Check, o ability to obtain one
