About the Organization:

Our Federal Government client is looking for Marketing officers due to an influx of work within a friendly and collaborative team. An independent service and government agency of the Commonwealth, we are seeking candidates for a contract ending October 2022 with a potential extension.

About the Role

The APS4 Marketing Officer is a team membership position that will work within defined parameters relating to their area of responsibility. It will apply well-established policy, principles, practices and procedures to achieve outcomes that supports and contributes to organizations objectives.

The position will provide operational and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound knowledge in various areas and may undertake some research and analysis activities.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the delivery of campaigns and partnerships by drafting content, managing implementation schedules, and coordinating the distribution of campaign materials.
  • Collating campaign tracking reports and producing campaign evaluation materials.
  • Managing the delivery and requests for design, print, translation, and readability of content.
  • Supporting key market research and content development projects

    Technical skills required:

    Having achieved a satisfactory level of technical, functional, and/or professional skill or knowledge in position-related areas; keeping up with current developments and trends in areas of expertise; leveraging expert knowledge to accomplish results.

  • Proficient level of English language, written and strong verbal communication
  • Ability to explain complex information and effectively manage challenging conversations
  • Demonstrate general financial literacy skills
  • Basic analytical skills with ability to interpret and analyze data
  • Demonstrate sound organization and coordination skills and apply attention to detail
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills and able to follow a process
  • Demonstrated a high level of problem-solving abilities and skills

  • Manage time and organize your own workload against performance expectations
  • Work effectively as part of a team environment to achieve own and team objectives
  • Display personal resilience and an ability to deal with challenging situations

  • Previous experience in a similar role under Australian rules and regulations
  • Extensive interpersonal skills, ability to engage stakeholders of various levels
  • High degree of professionalism, accuracy, and high standard of work
  • Collaborative approach to working in a team whilst also confident to work autonomously.
