Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS4 Finance Officer on a contract for 12 months.

Position Overview

Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Facilitating transaction processing in the systems to ensure financial data is accurate and complete.
  • Extracting and analysing data from SAP and other financial systems to resolve enquiries.
  • Preparing accurate and timely management reports as required.
  • Providing input into the development of Standard Operating Procedures for the team, including process mapping requirements.
  • Working with key stakeholders to support various project initiatives.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Demonstrated experience in a Finance function, ideally in Government or in a large organisation
  • Demonstrated experience measuring and reporting on compliance with approved policies/procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret, analyse, and present data
  • Proficient use of Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a small team
  • Experience in SAP (desirable)
