The APS4 Administration Officer will work within defined parameters relating to their area of responsibility. They will support their team to apply well-established policy, principles, practices and procedures to achieve outcomes that supports and contributes to organisation's objectives to 'build a world-leading scheme
The position will provide operational and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound knowledge and may undertake some research and analysis activities. The position will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice to resolve moderately complex enquiries.

Essential Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in financial governance
  • Highly developed skills in compliance reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and transform data into presentable dashboards
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly developed Excel skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team

Desirable Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in risk management and/or business continuity in a government agency

'Role B`

Essential Skills

  • Accounting quals or study towards them - CA/CPA/IPA
  • Experience in working in a Federal Government financial environment
  • Experience measuring and reporting on compliance with approved policies/procedures
  • Experience in assisting with reviewing control frameworks
  • Proficient use of excel/SAP R1P
  • Ability to interpret, analyse, and present data


  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and proficiency in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Office.
  • Current Police Check, or ability to obtain one.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen
