Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS4 Executive Assistant on a contract for 1 month with 2 months extension option.

Position Overview
Duties & Responsibilities:
The role provides high-level support to the Branch Manager by undertaking moderately complex administrative activities and tasks as required.
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Management of the Branch Managers diary and workflow
- Preparation of routine correspondence, briefs and coordination papers
- Providing travel, accommodation and financial acquittal services
- Coordination of administrative tasks such as stationery orders, phone lists, property and accommodation related requests
- Continuous improvement of the Branch Manager office performance through the use of efficient and practical administration processes and systems
- Management of regular branch-wide internal reporting meetings
- Assigning and collating briefs such as senate estimates briefings and coordinating document management via the Parliamentary Document Management System (PDMS)
- Providing secretariat duties for branch meetings
- Working collaboratively with other Executive Assistants/Executive Officers and the broader business area
- Ad-hoc tasks as required
The successful candidate will require the following:

- Organisation skills – Effectively at managing multiple tasks and problem solving
- Communication – Customer focused and enjoy dealing with people
- Collaboration – Works collaboratively with team members
- IT proficiency – Proficiency in relevant systems
- Motivated – Self-initiates, energetic and enthusiastic
- Baseline security clearance required
