About the role:

The APS4 Case Management Support - Intake and Processing will work within defined parameters relating to their area of responsibility. It will apply well-established policy, principles, practices and procedures to achieve outcomes that supports and contributes to Agency's objectives. The APS4 Case Management Support will assists in organising assessments to support case managers, drafting documents and actioning incoming correspondence.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Receive and registering new Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) matters
  • Action and direct correspondence.
  • Analyse and assess AAT Applications received by the Agency
  • Prepare and fil Tribunal documents as required for AAT Applications received by The Administrative Appeals Branch (AAB) within strict time frames
  • Assess and respond to risk from processes, including in terms of privacy considerations and priority
  • Organise assessments to support the decision-making process for case managers

MANDATORY
  • Experience working in a similar role under Australian rules and regulations
  • Experience in coordinating and assisting in the management of complex cases
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and proficiency in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Office
  • Experience managing a shared email mailbox that receives 2000+ emails per week
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Working with Children Check. This is only applicable to some positions within the Agency that require the occupant to have access to classified Australian Government information.
  • The Agency Worker Screening Check. This is only applicable to some positions within the Agency that require the occupant to have access to classified Australian Government information.
  • Current Police Check, o ability to obtain one

  • Ability to prioritise and allocate tasks in an efficient manner while also maintaining high work standards and accuracy.
