Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a APS4 Business Support Officer for 12 month assignment with potential extension in Adelaide.

About the Team
National Delivery is responsible for engaging with participants and managing participant plans and supports. State/Territory-based business units manage the operating functions of the NDIS, ensuring accessible, nationally-consistent participant experiences. Position Description for: APS4 Operations Officer.

About the Role
The APS4 Operations Officer is a team membership position that will work within defined parameters relating to their area of responsibility. It will apply well-established policy, principles, practices and procedures to achieve outcomes that supports and contributes to Agency's objectives to "build a world-leading National Disability Insurance Scheme".
The position provide operational and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound knowledge across service delivery areas and may undertake some research and analysis activities.

The APS4 Operations Officer will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex enquiries.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • * Supporting the Leadership Team by managing and collating data in reports and dashboards to inform strategic and operational planning.
  • * Supporting National Delivery staff to deliver exemplary customer service to achieve the best outcomes for participants.
  • * Monitoring and actioning correspondence (email), and assigning and actioning internal work items within service standards.
  • * Effectively managing and reporting on a portfolio of work within given timeframes.
  • * Maintenance of organisational charts, distribution lists, templates and records management as required.
  • * Investigation, research, analysis, administrative and project support for the Leadership Team and State Manager's office.
  • * Allocation of new matters
  • * Re-allocation of matters
  • * Follow up and actioning of exception reporting for the team
  • * Oversight of compliance
  • * Assist with escalations regarding invoice confirmations etc
  • * Assist with onboarding of new staff

What's on Offer?
* Position located in Adelaide
* APS4 $42.54/ph + super
* Temporary contract for 12 months, with possibility to extend
* Standard Hours or work - Monday to Friday, 8:30 am till 5:00 pm
