Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage in Multiple a APS4 Administration Officers for 12 month assignment with potential extension in Elizabeth SA. If you have experience in Disability, Health or the Aged Care sectors please apply.
About the Team
The Younger People in Residential Aged Care (YPIRAC) team is part of the newly formed YPIRAC/Hospital Interface Branch. The YPIRAC team provides specialised support for people with disability who are living in, or at risk of permanently entering aged care facilities. The team play a key role in the implementation of the government’s YPIRAC Strategy for participants aged under 65 years. The team works with health liaison officers (HLO), Agency Policy and Mainstream Interface teams, and National Delivery.
The Hospital Interface team provides an important link between state and territory hospital staff and the Agency. The team works with hospital staff to ensure participants who are medically ready for discharge have the right supports in place when returning to the community. The team works with planners, participants and hospital staff.
About the Role
The APS4 Administration Officer will work within defined parameters relating to their area of responsibility. They will support their team to apply well-established policy, principles, practices and procedures to achieve outcomes that supports and contributes to NDIA’s objectives to ‘build a world-leading National Disability Insurance Scheme’.
The position will provide operational and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound knowledge and may undertake some research and analysis activities.
The position will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice to resolve moderately complex enquiries.

- Organising the team email inbox, calendars and appointments, responding to team priorities and timeframes.
- Researching and responding to general enquiries and analysing documents and data.
- Coordinating and preparing meeting minutes and papers.
- Supporting the drafting of written communications and managing documents and databases.
- Receiving, analysing and recording complaints and feedback.
- Organising travel and finance reconciliation.
- Participating in project management work as directed, supporting the delivery of work priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong engagement with multiple stakeholders.
- Organisation and time management.
- Experience in the disability, health or aged care sectors.

- Temporary contract for 12 months, with possibility to extend
- Standard Hours or work - Monday to Friday, 8:30 am till 5:00 pm
