APS4 Administration Officer

Hourly rate - $42.54 + super
Located in Geelong
12 month contract with potential extension
Full-time Mon to Fri: 8.30am to 5pm

About the Team

The Performance Management and Quality Branch influences a high quality participant experience through delivery of Continuous Improvement (CI), a Quality Management Framework (QMF) and Performance Management activities. It reviews the consistency and quality of operational activities against standards, procedures and practices across the participant value chain.

The branch is responsible for identifying and sharing key trends and insights with Participant Experience Delivery (PED) to drive improvements in performance and quality. It facilitates an uplift in staff capability through Learning and Development activities for PED staff which is monitored and evaluated through evidence based practice to ensure embedment.

About the Role

The APS4 Administration Officer will provide broad support to the team, including day to day management and coordination of a variety of administrative functions. The position may be required to distribute reporting products created by the team, as well as respond to internal enquiries.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Organising the team email inbox, calendars and appointments, responding to team priorities and timeframes.
  • Researching and responding to general enquiries and analysing documents and data.
  • Coordinating and preparing meeting minutes and papers.
  • Supporting the drafting of written communications and managing documents and databases.
  • Organising travel and finance reconciliation.
  • Participating in project management work as directed, supporting the delivery of work priorities.

About you:

  • You will ideally have high proficiency in computer/software applications - Microsoft Office & Sharepoint
  • You will have excellent organisation and time management skills
  • You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You can build productive and working relationships with key stakeholders
  • You will ideally have experience in applying and interpreting policies and legislation
