Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage in Multiple APS3 Administration Officer for 18-month assignment with an option to possibly extend in Adelaide.

About the Team
The Complex Support Needs Branch provides specialised support for people with disability with additional complexity due to situational and personal factors. Roles within the branch may sit within the following teams:
  • Complex Support Needs: supports participants who are in the Complex Support Needs Pathway.
  • Children and Young People: provides support to children with disability who currently reside outside of the family home in full time or part time voluntary arrangements acknowledged by the relevant state or territory.
  • Liaison: provides support nationally to Justice system staff, to improve communication between state systems and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
  • Operations: Provides a range of operational support to all teams in the branch, including triage and workflow of participants through the CSN pathway.
About the Role
The APS3 Administration Officer is a team membership position responsible for producing work that is subject to regular monitoring by more senior NDIA positions within their management structure.
The position will undertake procedural, clerical, administrative support and operational tasks including some basic research and analysis activities.
The APS3 Administration Officer may have a public contact role and may be required to communicate with and provide straightforward advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Provide administration and diary support to team Director
  • Managing a shared team email inbox, including appointments and telephone enquiries.
  • Coordinating both virtual and face to face meetings via Microsoft Teams
  • Managing emails, coordinating and organising meetings, and undertaking general calendar management. Including preparing meeting agendas and minute taking.
  • Organising travel arrangements, fleet management and processing credit card acquittal requirements.
  • Undertaking research and investigation activities and preparing associated reports and correspondence.
  • Undertaking a range of data entry activities and ensuring follow up is completed.
  • Providing general administrative support as required.
  • Resolving enquiries and providing information to Internal and external stakeholders

  • APS3 $37.36/ph + super
  • Temporary contract for 18 months, with an option to extend
  • Fulltime Standard Hours or work - Monday to Friday, 8:30 am till 5:00 pm
