About the Team:
The Media and Marketing Branch enhances the agency's reputation amongst key stakeholders with a focus on participants. They deliver strategic and impactful media, marketing and digital solutions, supported by market research and insights. The Digital Delivery team is responsible for maintaining the Agency website, sub sites and the intranet.

The team provides advice on web best practice including accessibility, compliance and recommendations on how to deliver digital content.

About the Role:
The APS6 Digital Delivery Officer is accountable under limited direction to undertake complex work that is guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents. The position will provide detailed technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems. It may be required to coordinate and assist in the strategic planning, program and project management and policy development.

The APS6 Digital Delivery Officer will have a considerable level of public contact in relation to complex, difficult or sensitive issues. It may liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders in a representational role on behalf of the branch.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the development and publishing of intranet content in line with the agency's Communications and Engagement strategy.
  • Ensuring all intranet content meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (conformance to at least AA level).
  • Advising business areas and performing quality assurance on suitability of online content and information architecture based on best practice and accessibility.
  • Advising, training and supporting the online content author network.
  • Reporting on website and intranet performance for key internal audiences.
  • Working with the Communications and Engagement Division and key stakeholders to ensure streamlined and well-delivered content to internal and external stakeholders and audiences.
