About the role:
In this Project Officer role, you will be supporting the delivery and implementation of three significant services to the performance of the organization. These projects directly help those in need and you will see the work that you do have an impact. You will be working alongside the agency's regional offices and be guided by the Senior Project Officer.
We are looking for a Project Officer who is looking to step up into their next challenge. You will need the ability to build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships and demonstrate a high standard of work in the executive and administrative area.

Key requirements:

  • Assisting with the planning of provider engagement activities and assisting in the delivery and evaluation of provider engagement approaches.
  • Working with state and local governments, providers, carers, participants and mainstream organisations to identify, analyse and resolve local transition challenges.
  • Membership of a national portfolio team focusing on specific change programs and operational process improvement initiatives.
  • Identifying information needs of providers relating to provider policy changes, rules and processes.
  • Designing practices and resources to effectively implement the NDIA provider engagement strategy.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of capacity building activities and training for provider engagement staff.
  • Preparing draft replies to ministerial and parliamentary correspondence and briefs.
