About the team:
The Integrity Branch is responsible for preventing, detecting and responding to non-compliance and fraud. They engage with Agency staff, partners, participant and providers to promote good compliance practices and early intervention where non-compliance is identified.
The branch focus is on protecting the agency's financial sustainability, strengthening fraud control arrangements and conducting risk assessments to refresh the Agency's Fraud and Corruption Control Plan.
The Compliance section supports the branch to identify and respond to issues of non-compliance. The team offers support and advice to participants ensuring that their funding is not reduced by acts of fraud and misuse. The section also works directly with participants, providers and partners in the community to rectify identified non-compliant activities.

About the Role:
The APS5 Quality and Reporting Officer will assist with developing and implementing quality assurance and control activities, standard operating procedures, taskcards and continuous improvement activities across a range of compliance activities. The role will be required to perform procedural, clerical, administrative and operational tasks that supports and contributes to agency's objectives The APS5 Quality and Reporting Officer is a team membership position and is accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to an area of responsibility.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with the development and implementation of quality assurance and control activities in relation to compliance processes and/or decision making.
  • Supporting and mentoring team members to ensure the use of quality assurance control activities and enhancing quality controls and processes.
  • Reviewing and updating compliance processes, SOPs and taskcards in line with changes to policies and coordinating system change requests.
  • Generating reports from the Case Management System for workload management, prioritisation and executive updates.
  • Undertaking analysis and reporting to identify issues and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
