About the role:
The APS5 Learning & Development (L&D) is accountable under limited supervision to undertake moderately complex to complex work. The position will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of learning and development matters. You will partner with stakeholders to produce comprehensive capability and learning programs to enhance organisational capability and ensure frontline staff have essential skills to deliver a quality participant experience.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Leading and participating in capability and learning projects and contributing to the achievement of business outcomes.
  • Conducting organisational, functional and individual needs analysis activities to identify skills and knowledge required to perform identified job roles.
  • Designing new courses and/or improvements to existing learning curriculum to ensure consistent curriculum offerings across technical, vocational and on the job offerings.
  • Designing and building interactive learning elements and engaging activities.
  • Contributing to the development of competency frameworks and developing facilitated and digital learning for blended programs.
  • analysing the effectiveness of capability and learning activities to ensure quality outcomes are delivered.
  • Maintaining knowledge of current capability and learning issues and innovations in learning, technology and operations.
