About the role
As an APS5 Compliance Officer, working with providers to assist with understanding compliance obligations. You will be proactively following up on noncompliance where it occurs and ensuring that issues and risks are identified. You will need the ability to undertake research and analysis to develop compliance responses. You will participate in compliance promotion and education campaigns to inform and educate providers, participants and the public about legislation and policies.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Must have experience in a similar role and exposure to compliance
  • Experience working in a government agency or department is advantageous.
  • A solid understanding on compliance processes, practices and reviews
  • Excellent time management, planning and efficiency.
  • Strong and adaptable communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in building relationships both with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work within and across teams and adapt quickly to a changing environment
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to prioritise and allocate tasks in an efficient manner while also maintaining high work standards and accuracy
