Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Application Support on an initial contract of 12 Months, with an extensions.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide ongoing support for our clients, following completion of solution implementation.
  • Provide technical and software support to clients, including management of issues from initiation to closure.
  • Initiate and implement timely resolutions to customer issues ensuring customer is communicated with at all times.
  • Provision of accurate information to clients and feedback to the business.
  • Utilize internal systems to resolve issues in conjunction with the Senior Support Analysts and product management team.
  • Develop documentation to company standards.
  • Contribute to, and make use of, internal knowledge systems.
  • Develop relationships with clients and third-party vendors.

    Required skills
  • Ability to work as a team and independently.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst meeting SLA's.
  • Attention to detail throughout all tasks.
  • Excellent problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • 2+ years industry experience in an application support role.
  • Keen to learn new products and technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS and SQL.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse problems/issues, gather data and information, evaluate and recommend alternative solutions

    While the following will make you stand out
  • BS/BA in Computer Science or a related field preferred, or equivalent technical certifications and experience.
  • Experience of working in a technical support environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with diverse staff, colleagues, and clients

    Due to nature of work , candidate for this position is required to be an Australian citizen with NV1 Security Clearance .
