About the role:

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining the policy and guidance that delivers on government's policy priorities such as economic, environmental, and social outcomes, and the delivery of value for money
  • Review Cabinet submissions and policy and strategy proposals
  • Provide expert advice on procurement strategy, policy, and guidance
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure on-time delivery of quality outputs

About you:

The successful candidate will ideally have

  • Demonstrated experience at providing high-level professional policy advice
  • Demonstrated ability to research, develop, and implement policy and practice which meets government needs
  • Strong stakeholder experience
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organised
