Our client is National leading investment advice firm focused on providing tailored investment advice to all clients. They are experiencing exponential growth and are looking for an experienced Adviser Assistant/Paraplanner to join their team.
The role is to provide quality support to a investment advisers. The ideal candidate will have completed relevant education requirements (DFP or ADFP) and experience placing trades, portfolio management, buy and sell stocks, bonds, etc.

The Role:
  • Timely and accurate implementation of all advice documents
  • Develop accurate and succinct holistic Statements of Advice across all asset classes
  • Review PDS documentation
  • Attend client meetings with the Investment Advisers to build a genuine relationship with clients
  • Buy and sell stocks, place trades, portfolio management, manage bonds, etc.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships ensuring client queries are answered
  • Detailed understanding of client portfolio to deliver a detailed response
  • Prepare all advice documents including Fee Disclosure Statements, ongoing service agreements, invoices and relevant paperwork
  • Complete adhoc tasks and work on best practice strategies

Skills & Experience:
  • Must have 2+ years experience in the Financial Planning Industry
  • Experience with Financial Planning software; XPLAN, COIN, etc.
  • Excellent telephone manner and relationship management skills
  • Experience preparing SOAs, product research and selection is highly regarded
