Our client is a leading provider in specialised inspection services to the Oil and Gas, Mining, Power Generation and Construction industries.

Our client is currently searching for an enthusiastic Administrator to join their team located in Hindmarsh. This will be a 6-month contract with Chandler Macleod and possibility to go permanent with the client.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Business Administration over a 12-month period.

Successful Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • A passion for providing friendly and professional customer service
  • A positive attitude and willing to take direction
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and multiple tasks
  • Experience with MS Word/Excel
  • Experience with Xero will be an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable, punctual and work well in a team
  • A willingness to learn new skills and able to work well independently

Duties will include:

  • Screening phone calls and taking detailed accurate messages
  • Reception of guests at the office
  • Set up of meeting rooms and taking minutes in meeting on occasion
  • Managing email enquiries
  • General administrative duties such as data entry, invoicing and filing
  • Learning entry level bookkeeping and assisting in bank reconciliations (training provided)
  • Assisting management and other team members with various duties as required
  • Ordering of office supplies and other items

The successful candidate will be someone who thrives on working in a busy environment, be organised and able to utilise your own initiative and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must.
