Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an Administrative Support Officer on a contract for 12 Months, with potential extensions of 6 months.

Position Overview

The Digital Identity team within our client is seeking an experienced Administrative Support Officer. They will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Digital Identity Oversight Authority Lead and are an integral part of the program providing high-level coordination, administrative and operational support. Primary responsibilities will include supporting governance meetings, drafting executive level papers and briefs, recording high quality minutes and following up on actions and decisions, and management of the team's mailbox and associated correspondence. They will assist with the coordination of communications and engagement activities with internal and external stakeholders and the coordination of workshops, meetings and events. They will also contribute to the development and review of the team's risk and issues registers, develop and maintain operational procedures and support the team's reporting obligations. They will possess the ability to quickly establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally and demonstrate the ability to respond promptly and courteously to stakeholders requests, collate and disseminate relevant information, resolve standard problems and escalate issues when required.

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing quality administrative support services, including supporting governance meetings, drafting executive level papers and briefs, recording high quality meeting minutes and following up on actions and decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and maintenance of operational support procedures, the development and management of risks and issues registers, and drafting of status and executive reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally and demonstrate the ability to respond promptly and courteously to stakeholder requests, collate and disseminate relevant information, resolve standard problems and escalate issues when required.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will be required to have a Baseline clearance.
