Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Administration Support Officer on a contract for 12 months.

About the Role:

The Administration Support Officer - System Control is required to provide administrative services and support within System Control ensuring reliable and accurate information is available to facilitate the efficient operation of the Business Unit in achieving its business goals.

The role will encompass a broad range of administrative support tasks to meet both regional and corporate requirements.

Key Accountabilities

  • Use high level communication skills to address customer needs and expectations in line with the organisations policies and procedures
  • Use business systems to encode, organise and process workplace information in a timely efficient manner in line with the organisations policies and procedures
  • Provide daily administrative support services and activities to ensure all tasks are performed in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring all customer and associated records are administrated in accordance with privacy legislation and data confidentially requirements
  • Liaise with customer and internal departments to enable works to be completed efficiently and effectively maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Record and process timesheets, work requisitions and orders to assist with the efficient coordination and communication of customer, Operational Service Centre staff interfaces and workflows
  • Coordinate business unit activities and priorities to ensure the most effective and efficient delivery of service
  • Provide administrative support to Manager System Control as required to ensure a streamline delivery of service
  • Produce and distribute reports/correspondence to ensure items are completed as required.


  • Able to meet requirements of role in required timeframes whilst maintain high levels of accuracy
  • Maintaining current knowledge of branch activities in a constantly changing environment
  • Maintaining stakeholder relationships.
