Our client AGL Energy are on the lookout for an Administration Support Person to join them on a contract basis. The purpose of this role is to support the Customer Markets Operations teams and must champion the needs of AGL and work towards the achievement of AGL's strategy by delivering effective support that connect people with AGL's vision, values and business goals in ways that build engagement, pride, community and commitment.

Key accountabilities of this role

  • This role is responsible for the management of administrative tasks that support daily business operating requirements.
  • Optimise and deliver scanning and printing workflows.
  • Mail collection, scanning and distribution
  • Maintain forecasting, tracking and reporting on business volumes
  • Manage digital mailboxes to ensure work is correctly allocated, responded to or archived appropriately.

Qualifications, key skills and experience required

  • You are an advocate for your client, and you have previous experience in this type of role.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal communication skills - both written and verbal- combined with the ability to relate to people at all levels and adapt your approach as required.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, you are comfortable working both autonomously and in a team.
  • You possess a strong attention to detail, a critical mindset and are adaptable.
  • Data Analytics and Reporting skills are a benefit.
  • You have an intermediate knowledge of MS Suite.
