Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS5 Administration Officer on a contract for 6 Months.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely advice to staff and management on procurement and contract matters based on procurement and finance policies
  • Provide assistance to the Procurement Manager on major procurement activities as required
  • On-going preparation and production of Request for Tender / Request for Quote processes including:
    • development of acquisition strategies and evaluation plans including evaluation architectures.
    • development of tender documentation including tender notifications, Conditions of Tender, Conditions of Contract and Contracts.
  • development of general procurement documentation and communications such as clarification questions, letters to tenderers and industry briefings
  • plan and manage contract negotiations
  • perform contract award process including contract execution, letters and debriefs to unsuccessful tenderers and raising of purchase order requisitions
  • Manage and administer a range of whole of agency corporate contracts and panels.

Security Administration Officer tasks to include the following:

  • includes preparation, distribution and return of access control and ID cards
  • management of the Designated Security Assigned Positions (DSAP) list
  • process of security and reception-based invoices, and
  • distribution of locker keys
