Our Client is a Local NSW Government Agency who lead the development of safe, integrated and efficient transport systems for the people of NSW. An exciting vacancy has just become available at their Tamworth operations for an experienced and dedicated Administration Assistant.

This position is for an immediate start for the right candidate with a length of 6 months and the possibility for extension. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday 8AM - 4PM and in return will be offered an attractive daily pay rate of $300 + Superannuation.

As the Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Completing online forms
  • Email correspondence
  • Receiving customer complaints
  • Reception duties
  • Booking accommodation for team members
  • Sourcing office supplies
  • Filing project documentation
  • Providing support to all staff
  • Accounts payable
  • Organising catering and making arrangements for office functions/meetings

    To be considered for this role, candidates will have:
  • At least 3 years proven experience in an administration support role
  • Full work availability from Monday to Friday for a period of 6 months
  • Proficient in the use of all Microsoft programs and Outlook
  • Have excellent time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload
  • Have a positive attitude toward safety in the workplace and a commitment to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and the community
