Our client AGL Energy are on the lookout for an Administration Assistant to join them on a part-time contract basis. The incumbent will display behaviours which reflect and actively demonstrate alignment to the AGL Values of: Care in every action, Integrity always, Better together, Deliver your best, Shape tomorrow

The purpose of this role is to support the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Customers Team and must champion the needs of AGL and work towards the achievement of AGL's strategy by delivering effective support that connect people with AGL's vision, values and business goals in ways that build engagement, pride, community and commitment.

Key accountabilities of this role

  • This role works closely with the C&I Customers Team PA and is responsible for the management of administrative tasks that support daily business operating requirements.
  • Calendar Management.
  • Conduct Team Engagement activities.
  • Oversee and approve Travel and Work-related expenses.
  • Organise and coordinate events.


Qualifications, key skills and experience required

  • You are an advocate for your client, and you have experience in this type of role.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal communication skills - both written and verbal- combined with the ability to relate to people at all levels and adapt your approach as required.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, you are comfortable working both autonomously and in a team.
  • You possess a strong attention to detail, an open mindset and are adaptable.
  • You have a strong knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Previous Stakeholder relations experience is beneficial.
