Accounts Payable Officer - Adelaide CBD - 6 month contract

About the Role

The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for providing efficient accounts payable invoice processing and purchase order follow-up in a Shared Services environment. You will have a strong background in high volume transactional processing and will liaise with numerous internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve process and transaction issues.

Key responsibilities:

  • Strong understanding of 3-way-match process
  • Sound understanding of procure to pay invoice processing
  • High volume invoice processing
  • Ability to liaise with external as well as internal stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong reconciliation skills
  • Overdue invoice follow up

About You

  • Previous experience in a high volume transactional processing role in a large organisation
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the MS Office Suite, with a strong background in Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with Oracle, Coupa & SAP systems would be highly regarded
  • Effective communication skills, high levels of initiative, excellent time management and attention to detail and accuracy.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, demonstrate experience in a corporate environment and have exposure to finance systems.
