Excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Officer/Bookkeeper to a join a financial institute based in Brisbane. The Accounts Officer is primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of Accounts Receivable, end of month management, general accounting & administration tasks as required.

About the role:

  • Processing and recording payments.
  • Daily account reconciliations using system ERP
  • Bank, Corporate Card and Expense Reconciliations
  • Process credit card payments and prepare cheques for bank deposit.
  • Process adjustments - overpayments, reversals, reimbursements, and payment plans.
  • Generate and issue invoices
  • Assist with weekly and monthly reporting
  • Support Accounts Payable officer with tasks as required

About you:

  • A strong bookkeeping/accounts background with a minimum of 2 year's administration and accounts experience.
  • Be attentive to detail and be able to prioritise effectively
  • Good computer skills and be proficient with an accounting software package (Xero) and MS Outlook, Excel & Word.
  • Be capable of taking directions whilst also being a self-starter.
  • Have experience in a similar role


  • Work from home flexibility
  • 6-month contract + extension
  • Full time hours - 38 hours per week
