Chandler Macleod are seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator in the construction industry available for immediate start. The ideal candidates must have good attention to detail, initiative to problem solve, good customer service skills, accurate data entry skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong computer skills

About the Role

  • Entering and approving invoices
  • Reconciling Customer accounts
  • Coordinating weekly and fortnightly payment runs
  • Respond to emails
  • Responding to any creditor queries
  • Setting up new Customers
  • Sending out remittances
  • Monthly creditors reporting
  • Phone calls with suppliers (not just emails)

About you

  • The successful candidate should possess a keen eye for detail, good interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team environment.
  • 1-2 years previous experience in an Accounts role
  • Hands-on experience with Xero and MYOB software
  • Familiarity in dealing with customers
  • Developed communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
