Chandler MacLeod is currently seeking Accessory Fitters for our client, a market leader in integrated automotive fulfilment solutions. They offer services tailored to meet their customers' needs and are partners of choice for businesses and brand partners. They offer vehicle logistics, parts warehousing, accessory fitment, aftermarket products, pre-delivery inspections and distribution and inventory management services for several leading automotive brands.
 
The role:
We have opportunities for Experienced Accessory Fitters to join our client based in Altona.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role will include:
  • Accessory fitment including bull bars, nudge bars, unibars, towbars, cargo barriers, roof racks, winches, canopies and more as per customer requirements
  • Fitment and assembly of van and utility racking and associated accessories
  • Completion of test check sheets
 
The candidate:

  • Must have ability to fault find and make diagnostic evaluations
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Understanding of Quality Systems
  • Auto electrical experience - desirable but not essential.
  • A full driver's licence
