Are you an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter seeking a new opportunity to #unleashyourpotential in the WA Mining Industry?

One of our clients, a well-known entity in the Western Australian Mining Industry, is seeking the services of experienced Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Heavy Duty Diesel Fitters to join the Chandler Macleod Team on their Site.

The main duties of this role include:

  • Diesel Mechanic for ancillary fleet
  • Caterpillar Fitter required but not limited to the following fleet type:
    o 930-994 Loaders
    o 16-24M Graders
    o D10-D11T Dozer
    o Various other CAT equipment

    You will be rewarded with:
  • Rate up to $68 per hour + Super (Super paid on all hours)
  • Opportunity to secure a permanent contract
  • 2/1 roster
  • 9.5% Superannuation Contribution on ALL hours worked

    Successful candidates will have the following experience:
  • Australian recognised trade cert and Australian working rights
  • Trade Certificate (Cert III Automotive Mechanical - Heavy, Cert III Mobile Plant Technology, Cert III Engineering - Plant Mechanic) or vet assessed equivalent
  • Current work tickets such as Forklift, EWP, DG, RB and WAH (desirable)

    Candidates must also be able to:
  • Provide a copy of their Trade Certificate (Cert III Automotive Mechanical - Heavy, Cert III Mobile Plant Technology, Cert III Engineering - Plant Mechanic) or vet assessed equivalent
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner
  • Pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug Screen
  • Provide a current National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one
  • Provide a current WA Drivers Licence
