One of our clients, a well-known entity in the Western Australian Mining Industry, is seeking the services of an experienced Boilermaker to join the Chandler Macleod Team on their Site.

We are actively seeking Female, Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Boilermaker/Welder applicants

The main duties of this role include:

  • Maintenance Workshop Fabrication for ore car workshop
  • Light to heavy structural fabrication and welding, working to detailed drawings with strict specification detail, standards and codes.
  • When fabrication work is not available, you will be working with the fitters doing loco maintenance

    You will be rewarded with:
  • Rate: $55 per hour (flat rate)
  • 12 hours per day
  • 2/1 Roster (Ex Perth)
  • Initial 3 month contract with potential to extend
  • 9.5% Superannuation Contribution on ALL hours worked
  • Modern camp facilities (including state-of-the-art gym facilities, a swimming pool, Telstra 4G connectivity, Foxtel, and Wi-Fi is also available on most sites)

    Successful candidates will have the following experience:
  • MIG/TIG experience
  • Hold a valid Forklift and Dogging ticket
  • 3 to 5 Years heavy industrial or mining experience (post apprenticeship)

    Candidates must also be able to:
  • Provide a copy of their Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/Welding)
  • Provide a copy of their Forklift and Dogman ticket
  • Sustain a 2/1 FIFO roster (Ex Perth) - must reside in Perth, interstate candidates will not be considered at this time
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner
  • Pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug Screen
  • Provide a current National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one
  • Provide a current Australian Drivers Licence
