Our client, one of Australia's leading resources companies, is seeking to engage a Perth-based 3D Electrical Designer to provide electrical designs as a part of Engineering Team dedicated to a large-scale magnetite project in WA's north. The project focuses on delivering an industry-leading energy efficient operation, delivered with low cost power solutions across multiple generation sources in the Pilbara.

We seek:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience with a focus on electrical design
  • Experience in switchboard and power system design
  • Experience designing to AS61439 and AS3000
  • Experience with 3D AutoCAD essential
  • High degree of competency working to Australian Standards
  • High degree of proficiency at writing and reviewing engineering documentation
  • Prior experience gained in greenfields projects in the mining industry
  • Prior experience in minesite design in iron ore highly regarded
