Are you passionate about crafting impactful messages and engaging communities? We are seeking a talented Integrated Communications Advisor to develop and implement strategic communication plans that elevate organizational visibility, foster community engagement, and strengthen stakeholder relationships. What You Will Do:
- Lead the creation and execution of engaging communication campaigns
- Foster meaningful community engagement through targeted outreach strategies
- Develop compelling content across multiple channels
- Manage stakeholder relationships and uphold organizational reputation
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and risk management principles
- Promote continuous improvement and adopt best practices
- Embody organizational values such as teamwork, excellence, respect, accountability, and empowerment
- Tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
- Proven experience in delivering integrated communication strategies
- Excellent written communication skills tailored to diverse audiences
- Strong project management abilities and multitasking skills
- Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement and community outreach
- Certification in Engagement from the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2)
- Experience working within local government or community-driven organizations
- Familiarity with digital tools and social media platforms
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations
- At least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in communications or engagement roles
- Flexibility to work a minimum of 50% in-office, particularly from 24th November to 9th January
- Ability to start as soon as possible
- Commitment to safety, workplace health, and safety policies, and organization’s Code of Conduct
- Willingness to be responsive and adaptable to evolving role needs
